Diffusers

Diffusers are devices that disperse essential oils into the air to fill the surrounding with a pleasant, relaxing aroma. They bring about a ton of benefits including air humidification and purification, dust reduction and scent distribution. Furthermore, they generally retain the quality and effectiveness of the essential oils used. Psychological benefits such as lifting mood, providing comfort and easing anxiety may also be evident.

At Miris Scent, we have 2 different types of diffusers — nebulizers and reed diffusers. The former turns a few drops of aromatherapy oils into a mist, whereas for the latter, the reeds will absorb the oil in the bottle and spread the fragrance.

Reed diffusers vs nebulizers: For nebulizers, there are several settings to control the intensity. When not in use, they can also be switched off. On the other hand, reed devices, although low maintenance, will provide a constant scent that may be underutilised if you are away.
